FC Barcelona soon approach the day that would entail the confirmed departure of French star Ousmane Dembele to Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain, and the consequences that would have to be dealt with as a result.
The main concern that Barcelona continue to worry for the most is going to be on the sporting front. Losing arguably their most creative forward under the tutelage of Xavi Hernandez itself is a massive blow, but the unexpected nature of the departure leaves the Catalans unprepared.
According to Spanish journalist Javi Miguel however, FC Barcelona are formulating a plan to overcome this deficit of attacking threats that they will be faced with due to the absence of Ousmane Dembele.
Athletico Paranaense forward Vitor Roque is thought to be the name La Blaugrane have in mind to bring in this very summer as per the report, despite the agreement in place at the moment suggesting his original arrival to take place either in January or the next summer transfer window.
The original plan by FC Barcelona was to keep the 18-year-old Brazilian prodigy at his current club until the financial measures are opened up to facilitate his arrival, and now it seems that Ousmane Dembele’s possible departure could ensure just that.
It will be an interesting operation to follow given that Barcelona will first have to generate the required funds and then also allocate them accordingly to their various budgets to be able to facilitate the arrival of the 18-year-old prodigy from Brazil.
An exemplary goalscorer and potent striker, the arrival of Vitor Roque could provide the Catalan giants with a much-improved level of firepower across their attacking depth, one that could possibly curb the damage done by the departure of Ousmane Dembele, albeit from a different positional importance.
