Felix has to prove himself against Madrid

In the upcoming match, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior will be the main protagonists for Real Madrid, while for Barcelona, Joao Felix will be the one who attracts the most attention, particularly with Lewandowski and possibly Raphinha missing the match.

As SPORT has reported, this will be a golden opportunity for Felix to get himself recognized in a match against Los Blancos. Felix has faced the Madrid team several times with Atletico Madrid and twice with Chelsea as well but has not been able to shine on any of these occasions.

Not a single win against Real Madrid

Felix has faced Real Madrid six times with Atletico Madrid, but none of these six matches ended in a victory for his side. Personally, he was able neither to score a goal nor give an assist, and did not completely play even one of these matches.

With Chelsea, he met Los Blancos in the Champions League quarters finals, and his team lost both matches with a 2-0 scoreline.

The report from SPORT mentions that Felix is aware that he has not been able to meet expectations in his prior meetings with Real Madrid, and is taking the upcoming match as a challenge for himself.

However, this time, he has been in top-notch form and was a stand-out performer in the last match against Athletic Club in which he gave the assist for the only goal from Marc Guiu.
