The 21-year-old Athletic Club star has been gaining a lot of attention from fans of Barcelona and even the journalists connected to the club, with many hoping that he becomes the next big name to dress up in Blaugrana colors.
Moreover, as highlighted by Fabrizio Romano, Williams is also more than welcome at the club for a certain star of Barcelona as well. Pedri, the 21-year-old midfield star who formerly won the Golden Boy award and is currently a teammate of Nico’s in the Spanish National team, had the following to say about the possibility of the Athletic Club star joining Barça at some point:
“Nico Williams would be a spectacular signing for us at Barcelona, it’d be incredible… He’s a player who is already showing what he’s capable of. I hope he can join us.”
