Ansu Fati’s rather interesting season ahead is surely one that fans of FC Barcelona will be keeping an eye out for. The teenage sensation has lost his hold on being one of the team’s starting wingers, as he finds himself way down the pecking order. But as more and more reports come along of clubs interested in the winger, his agent is simultaneously looking for finality.

Representing Ansu Fati is none other than Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes, representative of other elite-level footballers such as Cristiano Ronald, Bernardo Silva, and Ruben Dias amongst others, and as notable as his clientele is, it is due to a good cause.

The agent is quite clear regarding his motives with his clients and prefers to do business as would benefit the latter party and the player’s Portuguese representative. Thus, making it quite obvious to clubs and players alike that the agent would be straight down to finalizations should he believe any of his client’s formalities or requirements are not being fulfilled, whether those be morale related or financially motivated.

In the case of FC Barcelona winger Ansu Fati, the player is struggling to find his best form again and looks to be a shell of his former prodigious teenage self. Consequently, he finds himself on the bench on a rather regular basis in recent times and continues to lack his lost spark that could bring him back on as a starter for Xavi Hernandez and his team.

Despite FC Barcelona insisting on still backing the player, there have come numerous reports in the Spanish media suggesting the player is wanted by the likes of English clubs Manchester United and Arsenal for relatively hefty amounts of transfer fees being ready to be exchanged for his services.

Mendes seems to indefinitely be aware of this and will try to push for a departure this summer should Ansu Fati not start earning back his minutes or begin playing at the level that he has previously shown himself capable of playing.
