Pau Victor was one of the new additions to the FC Barcelona first-team at the start of this season, but it has been some time since the striker has been at the Catalan club. Last year, he was also on loan at Barcelona from Girona and was one of the key players for the Barcelona Atletic team.

He scored 20 goals with the reserve team last season, and the B team is now finding it very difficult to replace him in the team.

The Barcelona Atletic team is particularly struggling with scoring goals, and according to SPORT, one of the players the Blaugrana club has in its sights to mitigate this problem is the Malaga forward, Antonio Cordero.

The Catalans were already interested in his signing in the last summer transfer window but ultimately decided not to meet the economic demands of Malaga, as they were asking for €3 million for the 17-year-old forward whose contract is expiring next year.

At that time, Barcelona brought Ivan Cedric, but Antonito is still not forgotten by the Blaugranes, especially as the player is now represented by the Israeli agent Pini Zahavi. The agent has a very good relationship with Joan Laporta, who also represents Hansi Flick and Robert Lewandowski.

Meanwhile, Málaga are doing their best to convince Antonito to renew his contract, but according to some reports, his arrival at Barcelona is already considered a given. The forward could also join Barcelona as early as January, especially if Málaga decide to seek financial compensation for his departure.

However, Barcelona are approaching this operation with a lot of discretion, especially as they do not want to create any problems with Malaga or Antonito.

This season, the forward has got three goals and three assists to his name as Malaga once again competes in the second division. He has also been called up by the Spanish U-19 team for a mini-tournament in Kosovo that will determine the team’s qualification for the European Championship.
