FC Barcelona target and current Athletico Paranaense forward Vitor Roque has offers queueing up for him from every other league. From the absolute interest of a La Liga giant to the now newly emerging calls from the English Premier League, the young Brazilian will have to think very clearly about his next big decision.
On Barcelona’s radar since quite a while, the youngster who exploded to life wearing the Brazilian yellow at the South American U-20 Youth Championship and just recently made his debut with his nation’s first team in a match against Morocco, his talent remains undeniable and inevitable that it will one day soon find its way to bless European football.
Apart from the obvious interest of the Catalan club, the Brazilian youngster now also houses the interest of clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea from London. While their financial offers will undeniably be superior to that of Barca’s, SPORT reports that the player unquestionably prioritizes signing for La Blaugrana and would be willing to accept a lower financial offer as compared to the others he has on the table to be a part of the Catalan outfit.
SPORT also reports that FC Barcelona have the player as an utmost priority themselves and should they be unable to acquire the proper funding or be unable to register him due to persisting issues with Financial Fair Play, they would ask of the player to wait for another year if possible.
Coincidentally, according to reports by Mundo Deportivo, the player would be willing to wait until July of 2024 should Barcelona need him to so that they may be able to generate more income and create space within their financial boundaries to accommodate Roque’s arrival. The player understands their current problems on an economical level and is willing to cooperate as much as possible to an extent.
Barcelona are waiting to proceed with any official offers as of yet, due to several concerns that need addressing first, such as the potential arrival of Lionel Messi and it’s consequences as a result on other Barcelona targets, as well as the issue concerning the registration of the renewed contracts of several players.
