The Swedish sensation Lucas Bergvall is one of the players most closely linked with FC Barcelona in the last few weeks. The Swede has already been in the city of Barcelona, and a deal was reported to be close, but nothing has been announced in this regard yet.

Bergvall himself has been reported to be interested in joining Barcelona above any other clubs, but this does not mean that other big European clubs are not trying to get his signature. In fact, there is one certain club in England that can actually win the race to sign the Swede.

Barcelona was not the only city that Bergvall visited in the last week, as he also stopped by in London. According to Mundo Deportivo, one of the places that Bergvall visited In the English capital was the training facility of Tottenham Hotspurs.

Furthermore, his compatriot and the Tottenham forward, Dejan Kulusevski was also present when Bergvall visited the Premier League club’s facilities. Kulusevski, who had joined the London side in 2022, guided the youngster through the tour and also tried to convince him to join him at Tottenham instead of signing for Barcelona.

These visits to either London or Barcelona may not ultimately mean much in regards to the final destination for the Swedish youngster, as he is expected to join his new club only in the next summer window, and not in the winter window.

Meanwhile, Bregvall will be looking to start his preseason with Djurgardens and play his first friendly next week against Mjallby on Tuesday at the Ernesto Aparicio field in Las Palmas, Spain. But his visits to both London and Barcelona will keep everyone guessing about his next destination unless either of the clubs puts out an official statement about his signing.
