FC Barcelona have had some memorable kits to wear over the years and the Catalan giants have become almost synonymous with certain colors. Despite their typical Blaugrana red and blue, Barcelona have often also delved deep into other colorways as well.
From the 2022/23 Gold Kit to even this season’s rather controversial White Away Kit, Barcelona have not been restricted to just one particular color for their choice of uniform, despite the iconic red and blue having remained consistent for their home jersey for a very long time.
Now, even as the 2023/24 season has only really just begun, news regarding the upcoming season has already started to leak in terms of Barca’s future kits. After having leaked the Black away kit for next season, a new entry has now also been allegedly revealed.
As highlighted by Spanish outlet SPORT, the Twitter account ‘Memorabilia1899’ has reportedly leaked the new third kit for the upcoming 2024/25 season. An account quite famously known for its interest and news in Barcelona kits, the news may not be official but the source is typically reliable in terms of revelations regarding new Barca kits.
New Colors
According to the post, the kit will primarily be a quite dark shade of blue while also possessing hints of greenish-yellow tints across the kit in certain areas as part of the overall design made by Nike.
The yellow in particular is similar to the one added by Nike in the away kit used by English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur last season. Their kit was mainly a mixture of shades of blue with yellow highlights across the jersey in different patterns.
The image leaked for the Barcelona third kit features Joao Cancelo on it. Despite it still being unsure if he will remain at Barca next season, that is the player the leak has chosen to feature.
Three leaked kits already
On the topic of primary usage, the kit will reportedly be used mainly for away games and matches in the UEFA Champions League. For now, three kits for the upcoming season have already been leaked to some degree and the colorways for each seem to be blue/red for the home kit, black/red/blue for the second kit and now ‘royal’ blue/yellow for the leaked third kit.
