As the summer transfer window heats up and accelerates, so does the need for FC Barcelona to progress with their various transfer activities in order to prepare for the upcoming 2023/2024 season.
Currently, the first hurdle that Barcelona must overcome, which may also quite possibly be the most frustrating of them all, is the approval of the Financial Feasibility Plan that they presented to the offices of La Liga, which would resultantly if approved, allow the Catalans to pursue their various transfer activities.
As per recent reports that began to circulate, ranging from the news that Lionel Messi is no longer willing to wait for FC Barcelona to even further extremes that stated that the Argentine and his camp have already accepted a massive financial offer from the Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, it became apparent that pressure was mounting up and Barcelona need to act quickly.
According to a recent update by SPORT however, it is said to be understood that FC Barcelona are expecting La Liga to finally give an official evaluation and answer on their presented feasibility plan by Tuesday at the latest, and come next week, they will finally make their primary official advances in order to attract Lionel Messi and attempt to fulfill the dreams of a homecoming shared by many who support the Blaugrana colors.
Moreover, the approval of the plan would allow Barcelona to pursue targets even apart from Lionel Messi and ensure they can build a competitive squad for the upcoming season.
Xavi Hernandez now simply awaits the arrival of a new pivot as well as Messi himself, as reportedly the Barcelona board assured him that they would do their own best to bring in any and all reinforcements that the coach has in mind for the team as a result of his success in winning both the La Liga title and the Spanish Super Cup.
