With sales being the first and foremost priority for FC Barcelona if they hope to be able to financially accommodate new arrivals over the summer.
The players so far that continue to have the most momentum in terms of reports suggesting potential exits are Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, and Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie, with the latter being subject to some serious Italian interest.
As per the latest news by SPORT, Italian Serie A side Inter Milan are now looking to finalize their conversations with FC Barcelona over the possible transfer of Franck Kessie back to Italy, as he also used to defend the colors of AC Milan before he moved to Barcelona.
The Italians are financially not doing all too well either and while they consider an economic package of €30 million to be unfeasible, they are still open to offering a direct swap deal for the Ivorian.
In terms of the players that the Serie A side has proposed thus far include the likes of Denzel Dumfries, Joaquin Correa, and Marcelo Brozovic, with the 30-year-old midfielder the most likely to be the one that interests Barcelona as per reports.
The Croatian midfielder was also at the heart of most things that Inter Milan did right in their recent UEFA Champions League final where the Italian side would eventually come up just short and lose out to former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in a nail-biting 1-0 win for the English side.
However, a final decision is expected soon and Barcelona are much more convinced by the interest from the English Premier League out of which they feel more assured that a direct transfer fee could be attained rather than the swap formula that Inter Milan are currently suggesting. It remains to be seen just how these final conversations now progress and if Barcelona and Inter Milan are able to come to an understanding.
