Barcelona to have entire squad fit against PSG except for two players

In light of the difficult encounters up ahead, FC Barcelona does not seem to lose hope. At the moment, the entire focus remains towards the first leg of the European clash against Paris Saint-Germain. However, if there were doubts within Barcelona before, they must surely have settled now.

Beyond just the fact that La Blaugrana have picked up a good run of form in recent weeks, and the fact that they look to be at their best in terms of defensive stability this season so far, Barça have more good news to look forward to. With just a few days to go to the PSG encounter, Barcelona have received a massively positive forecast.

As reported by Marta Ramon of RAC1, the current understanding is that the entirety of the Barcelona squad will be fit and ready to take on Luis Enrique’s PSG. This means that both Pedri and Frenkie De Jong, who were previously injured, are expected to be fit for the encounter.

Moreover, both the Spaniard and the Dutch midfielder are expected to train this week ahead of the clash and be ready to travel with the team to Paris. Previously, there were doubts about their presence for the first leg, but it now seems that Barcelona are hopeful about having both of their stars ready.

However, only two players from the first team squad will not be traveling as participants. Both Alejandro Balde and Gavi, expected to be out for the rest of the season, are the only two casualties worth noting. Apart from them, the unusual circumstance of Barcelona having all their players available for once could be seen against PSG.

This news could not have come at a better time for Xavi’s team. Knowing the importance of winning against PSG, Barcelona would appreciate all the help they can get. That help becomes even more promising when it comes in the form of elite players making their return.
