The former Barça, Liverpool, and Bayern midfielder was even seen training with the team today wearing an outfit that matches that of Flick’s coaching staff.
Moreover, MD states that the club is hoping to make his appointment official by tomorrow. The 33-year-old’s incorporation into the team will be a massive boost both for the coaching staff and even for the Barcelona players themselves.
Having already trained under Flick previously, and having been a part of Barcelona for quite some time as well, Thiago can act as the perfect middleman. He is the man that the club reportedly wanted as their first priority in such a position, and they now seem to have him.
It is now only a matter of time before his appointment becomes official it seems. He has already been sighted at the club’s training ground and it is more or less a guarantee that he is now a part of Flick’s new team that will be looking to get the best out of this Barcelona squad.
