According to Spanish outlet SPORT, Xavi Hernandez has been alerted of the difficulty of making signings in January. The Spaniard will most likely not be able to count on Roque nor any new pivot. The economic difficulty of pulling off these arrivals is said to be the primary problem.
Moreover, Barcelona entrust Xavi with leading this team forward despite that. The club sees the current squad as being exceptional and well-scouted. The Barcelona coach is expected to find the right solutions from within his plethora of talented superstars.
Faith and patience
In terms of squad depth, Barcelona believe that they have provided well for the Catalan coach. Faith remains consistent when it comes to Xavi’s abilities and capabilities as a manager, however. The squad at his disposal currently is his best one yet in Barcelona, and hence expectations are also high.
Within Brazil, Athletico Paranaense and Vitor Roque continue to wait for news from Barcelona. It is expected that a final answer on whether or not Roque can be incorporated in January will be finalized within the next week.
