There is no doubt that Hansi Flick has been able to get the best out of this Barcelona team that was unable to win any major trophy in the last season.
While the team’s results are clear evidence of the improvement it has undergone in the last few months, the improvement in the games of several Blaugrana players is also quite evident.
This improvement is most conspicuously observable in the Brazilian winger Raphinha, who has been performing at a very high level this season, and has already scored 12 goals and provided 8 assists with Barcelona.
These performances have further raised the demands of the former Leeds United winger in the market, as he was already a very sought-after player despite his two inconsistent seasons at Barcelona.
As recently reported, the Premier League side Arsenal is one of the clubs interested in signing the forward, as Mikel Arteta’s side is looking to add a dynamic and creative player to their forward line, and Raphinha suits these criteria. The Gunners were reported to be willing to offer as much as €90 million for the Brazilian star.
However, Fichajes now reports that despite this big potential offer, Barcelona are not willing to part ways with Raphinha, and would consider his departure only for an offer of at least €100 million.
Barcelona believe Raphinha to be one of the fundamental pillars of their squad, particularly after the incredible start to the season he is having.
There is no doubt that the Brazilian is one of the key parts of this Blaugrana attack, and it would be quite difficult for the Catalans to replace a player of his quality in the team if they decide to let him go.
However, Barcelona might still be tempted by a big offer from Arsenal, as such a fee can significantly mitigate the financial problems the Catalan club is facing.
