Coming out of this game with all three points, Barcelona had some noteworthy performances against Almeria. Barca News Network brings you the player ratings after FC Barcelona’s 2-0 win against Almeria.

Barcelona vs Almeria: Player Ratings

Player Ratings:

Ter Stegen: 7.0

Did not have much to do as he managed to keep his 11th clean sheet of the season in 13 games so far. Practically flawless in distribution as well.

Balde: 7.0

Deployed on his rather unconventional right-back position, yet still managed to give a solid display. Effective in defense as well as a constant presence in attack.

Marcos Alonso: 5.5

Almost seemed invisible today. Did nothing, particularly of note, average display tonight.

Gerard Pique: 7.5

Possibly his best performance this season, and in time for his final swansong at Camp Nou. The legendary number 3 leaves behind a legacy to remember.

Jordi Alba: 6.5

Consistently engaged in a lot of offensive moves, whether it be to provide his teammates an open outlet to pass to or create chances for his teammates himself.

Busquets: 6.0

Sloppy in possession, something rather uncommon for the Spaniard, but was overall not that bad for as long as he was on the field.

Pedri: 7.0

Makes every single trick up his sleeve seem effortless, and is constantly helping his team through whatever means he can, be it offensive or defensive duties.

Frenkie De Jong: 8.5

His gliding runs through the middle of the pitch never fail to amaze, and despite his early error that also cost Barcelona to concede first blood, he more than made up for it through his performance across the 90 minutes.

Ousmane Dembele: 7.0

Confusing. Both to defenders and to fans alike. Can conjure wonders such as the one he did to score his goal. Can also bemuse everyone on the field with his poor decision-making. Should’ve scored on the chance where he spent way too much time trying to round the goalkeeper.

Robert Lewandowski: 6.5

One of his less impactful performances, Lewandowski also ended up missing his first-ever penalty in the Blaugrana colors. Should have done better with the chances he was presented.

Ferran Torres: 7.5

Aside from his finishing, Ferran Torres gave a very positive all rounded performance tonight. Good link-ups, and excellent runs in behind. Unfortunate to not have scored and his substation may have been a little undeserved.

Substitutes:

Ansu Fati: 6.5

Constantly got into dangerous positions but wasn’t able to finish off his chances, showcasing his killer instinct and gaining back its momentum.

Gavi: 6

Energetic as always as soon as he was subbed in, constantly shows why he’s a unique kind of character in the midfield dynamics for Barca.

Raphinha: 6

Wasn’t able to impact the game as he probably would have liked, but still helped out massively in defense.

Christensen: N/A

Not enough time on the field to warrant a rating.
