Barcelona will face Real Sociedad in the Copa Del Rey quarter-finals

Barcelona draw Real Sociedad in the Copa Del Rey Quarter-Finals

Barcelona advanced to the next round of Copa del Rey last night, after a dominant display against Ceuta. The draws for this next round of the tournament were held today, and FC Barcelona have been pitted against Real Sociedad for their next match in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals.

Other major teams in La Liga, including Real Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia, Athletic Club, Atletico Madrid, and Osasuna have also advanced to the quarter-final stage for this year’s Copa del Rey.

FC Barcelona were exempted from the initial rounds of the Copa del Rey because of their league standings in the previous edition of La Liga and started their campaign with a match against Intercity in the round of 32, which they won 4-3 in extra time. This victory helped them advance to the round of 16, where they met AD Ceuta and after beating AD Ceuta last night, La Blaugrana advanced to the quarter-final stage of the King’s Cup.

Other major teams have also found their rivals for the quarter-finals, with some interesting matches set to take place in this stage of the tournament. Real Madrid vs Atletico is perhaps the most competitive of these matches, but all these matches in the quarter-finals promise plenty of entertainment. The full draw is as follows:

Quarter-Final 1: Real Madrid have been pitted against Atlético de Madrid and the match will be played at Santiago Bernabéu.

Quarter-Final 2: CA Osasuna have been pitted against Sevilla FC and the match will be played at El Sadar Stadium.

Quarter-Final 3: Valencia CF have been pitted against Athletic Club and the match will be played at Mestalla Stadium.

Quarter-Final 4: FC Barcelona have been pitted against Real Sociedad and the match will be played at Camp Nou.
