FC Barcelona youngster Pablo Torre has been at the helm of a lot of missed opportunities this season. As a rather prodigious talent, it becomes a rather unfortunate truth that he does not get the ample playing time needed for a talent that young to properly develop.
Resultingly, the youngster has attracted interest from some top sides. While Barcelona themselves want the young gem to partake in a team where he would get ample time as well as a good quality of opposition to face off against should he be sent out on loan, their expectations have been exceeded by the clubs that have ended up showing interest.
Teams from the top division of Spain, La Liga Santander itself, have inquired or been reportedly interested in the development of the player, as per SPORT. Clubs such as Villarreal, Celta Vigo, Osasuna, and Almeria are the Spanish sides reportedly interested in the services of the 20-year-old Spaniard.
The ex-Racing Santander star was brought into the Catalan side for a fee of an estimated €5 million and has since delved neither here nor there between the first team and the subsidiary. The player has not gotten the privilege of many minutes under Xavi Hernandez and has sparingly been used by Rafa Marquez.
According to reports, however, the player has most recently recorded the interest of the Scottish side and recent runners-up in the Scottish Premiership, Rangers FC. The Scottish giants are reported to be interested in having Torre at their disposal should Barcelona opt to send him out on loan to gain some much-needed game time against respectable opposing quality, something that a high-intensity league such as the Scottish Premiership should provide.
