At the start of this season, not even the most optimistic Barcelona fans could have imagined their team to be getting the results that it has up to this point in the season, especially in the last week against two of the biggest teams in Europe.

But Hansi Flick’s arrival has been crucial as it has turned the fortunes of this team, which finished the last season without a trophy, around. The fact that the German coach has had to get these results without some of the most important players in his team only makes his achievements even more praiseworthy.

His arrival on the Barcelona bench has also allowed some Blaugrana youngsters to showcase their talent on the pitch, and one of the standout players this season has been the midfielder Marc Casado.

The youngster has impressed a lot in the absence of the more established players in the Barcelona midfield and has particularly stood out with his vision, ball control, and ball distribution.

These skills and performances have naturally raised the interest of other big clubs in the player, and according to Fichajes, one such club is none other than Bayern Munich, whom the 21-year-old midfielder helped defeat just a few days ago.

The Bavarians have a lot of quality in the midfield, but believe Casado will still be a useful addition. Their scouts have been watching the midfielder, and believe he can quickly adapt to Vincent Kompany’s team.

For their part, Barcelona would not be too keen to part ways with a player of Casado’s potential. However, their economic problems can seduce them to consider a sale if a big offer comes, especially as they have a lot of options in the midfield.

However, with the prominence he has had in the team since the last few weeks, Casado would not really be looking to change sides. The €15m-rated midfield gem also has a contract till 2028 with the Catalan club, and despite the claims of this report, it is hard to see him leaving Barcelona any time soon.
