In terms of his style of play, Ederson could not be further away from a Barcelona pivot. Unlike the stationary yet positionally integral likes of Sergio Busquets, Ederson likes to roam a lot. More of a box-to-box midfielder rather than a pivot, his movement allows his team to pose much more danger up ahead.
Still just 24 years old, Ederson has already begun to catch the eyes of several European giants, including FC Barcelona. He also possesses a great dribbling ability that he can utilise to overcome any defenders in his way.
As Barcelona continue to look for more midfielders that can play a deeper role, Ederson will surely be added to the list. Moreover, Deco seems to have a personal intrigue towards Brazilian talents and may decide to look further into this particular case.
