The game against Alaves was a complete rollercoaster for FC Barcelona. Despite early signs of struggle, Barça ultimately managed to come away with a 3-1 victory. However, Barcelona still have something to worry about as a consequence of this recent victory.

One of the big talking points of this game has to be the great involvement of the team’s youngsters. Every starlet on the field, whether a starter or a substitute, made an impact despite their young age. From among them, the craziest experience was undoubtedly that of a certain Brazilian.

As highlighted by SPORT, Vitor Roque got to feel both the joy of scoring for Barcelona and also the negative emotions of an unjust sending-off. Even as a substitute, he continues to deliver, but in this case, the delivery was not all just positive news.

Arriving at a point of the match when the score was just 2-1, Roque had to make an impact. With Alaves gaining momentum and looking dangerous, the 18-year-old striker was sent in to make an offensive impact. Rather poetically, that is exactly what he ended up doing.

Within minutes of his introduction on the field, the Brazilian shined with a well-placed shot from his left foot. Assisted by Hector Fort, the goal was a creation of genuine young brilliance. In fact, right after he scored, ‘Tigrinho’ brought out his signature tiger celebration with the utmost joy on his face.

However, that is when things began to go downhill. A first yellow card was shown to him not too long after the goal for an elbow to an Alaves player.

This one felt deserved, despite the fact that the opposition player began the provocation. However, he received a second yellow not too long after for a seemingly non-existent foul.

For this reason, Xavi has already confirmed that Barcelona will be appealing the suspension. Otherwise, Vitor Roque will end up missing the next match for Barcelona against Granada.

This would be a huge blow for the Catalan giants given the fact that Joao Felix and Ferran Torres are already going to miss that game due to injury.
