This is a good time for FC Barcelona fans to relive some of their club nostalgia as Barça Legends have only just concluded their tour of Israel this Thursday. They first faced Maccabi Tel Aviv in a match that ended 3-5 in favor of the Catalan club’s legends, before they also beat Maccabi Haifa 1-5.

The match against Maccabi Haifa took place on Thursday, and it was a good match for the spectators as former stars from both clubs took back the clock to produce moments of footballing magic to entertain the audience.

Ronaldinho led Barcelona Legends

As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, the Barça Legends team was led by the Brazilian Ronaldinho and also had other highly celebrated players in their ranks like Rivaldo and Saviola.

The match started in a bad way for Barça Legends as Reuven Attar scored a great goal for Maccabi Haifa in the 8th minute to give the hosts a lead.

Ronaldinho kept trying with his usual flair and wizardry, while Rivaldo was also in good form. However, the first half ended without a goal from Barça Legends, as Giovanni Silva missed a couple of chances and Roger had a goal disallowed for offside.

Barcelona came alive in the second half

The story of the second half was entirely different, as Barça Legends pressed the whistle to get the lead. Savilo tied the score only one minute into the second half, after getting a pass from Trashorras, cutting into the goalkeeper and a center-back, and then chipping the ball over both of them.

Ronaldinho then scored another goal from a penalty won by Giuly. The Brazilian shot the ball with power and precision to give Barcelona the lead in the 59th minute. Giuly then scored a goal of his own from a thunderous volley in the 69th minute, after getting the ball from Sergi Barjuan.

Bojan was involved in the last two goals of the game. First, he gave the assist to Saviola, whose strike made the score 4-1 in the 73rd minute, and Bojan scored another penalty in the 79th minute to make it 5-1 for Barcelona.

The match went on only for 80 minutes, but this time was enough for Barcelona legends to show that they still have the quality and class to make their former club proud.
