Busquets on the speculations regarding his future:

“It’s strange that the media and journalists have made my departure official. I have one year left on my contract and I haven’t decided anything yet. This is the last season of my contract with Barca and I can continue in the club of my life or enjoy in another league. I haven’t decided yet.”

“I also don’t know if I’ll play my last games with Spain in Qatar. I don’t know what will happen at Barca either. Many people consider it a fact that I’m leaving but it’s not. I haven’t thought about it. I want to see how the season is going.”

Busquets on Pedri and Gavi:

“Pedri and Gavi will have great careers at Barcelona and for the national team. I’m happy to have them by my side because it’s a luxury for me. I hope their career will be like mine.”

Busquets on Leo Messi:

“Leo Messi is my friend. He is the best player in the world. Messi needed to win a tournament with his national team, he did it with the Copa América. I hope he does as well as possible while he’s still at the national team.”
