FC Barcelona have four of their players playing away on loan this season, including Vitor Roque, Oriol Romeu, Clément Lenglet, and Álex Valle.
Three of these players, Roque, Lenglet, and Romeu, are having quite fruitful seasons with their respective clubs, i.e., Real Betis, Atletico Madrid, and Girona.
Álex Valle has not seen the level of prominence that was expected from his loan move to Celtic, despite a promising start to the season.
So far, he has made 7 starts and 4 substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership, 1 start and 3 substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League, and 2 starts with 1 substitute appearance in the Scottish League Cup. He has recorded a total of five assists in 18 appearances.
The Scottish team already has Greg Taylor for the left-back position, while Valle’s position is further threatened as Celtic are set to acquire Kieran Tierney from Arsenal in this winter transfer window.
In such a scenario, SPORT reports that the on-loan Barcelona fullback can change sides, as the Italian team Como is interested in his signing.
The Italian side is coached by the former Blaugrana midfielder Cesc Fàbregas and has emerged as a very interesting team that is fully committed to youth development.
Last summer, Como invested €6m to sign and acquire 50% of Nico Paz’s rights from Real Madrid, and they have recently spent €11.5m to secure 80% of the rights to Assane Diao, the Real Betis midfielder.

Although Valle’s contract with Barcelona runs until June 2026, a clause in the agreement allows the club to extend its stay for an additional two years.
If his move to the Serie A club materializes, Valle will compete primarily with Alberto Moreno, who is already 32 years old, giving him a chance to secure a place in the starting eleven.
Furthermore, Sergi Roberto is also currently playing at Como, and his presence will also help Valle adapt quickly to the Italian team. But for now, it remains to be seen how this operation develops.
