The great desires of FC Barcelona are often met with fierce competition from other clubs. The Blaugranes are still riddled with financial problems, and this often leaves them empty-handed in a lot of operations. However, as far as Barcelona are concerned, good planning can still take them far.

As such, they continue to eye prodigious talents that could become part of the club in the future. Despite not being in a position to devote grand amounts of funds towards specific players, Barcelona are still keen in terms of their scouting operations.

One name that stands out to them is that of Roony Bardghji, a winger for Danish side Copenhagen. Aged just 18, he is a player who has exploded this season both domestically and through his showings in the UEFA Champions League, specifically against the likes of Manchester United.

However, as highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, the operation will not at all be an easy one. Firstly, due to the immense quality of the player from Sweden, he has attracted many great clubs. The likes of Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Chelsea, and even PSG are all reportedly interested in him.

This leaves Barcelona in a tough spot, as they need to compete with teams with far greater financial backing as a consequence. However, that is not the only issue when it comes to the case of Bardghji. Since these rumors have started to spiral, he has not played much for Copenhagen either.

With his contract set to expire in 2025, the Danish side needed him to agree to a longer extension. However, the player seems to have no intention to do so and this has led him to the stands, where he remains without participating with the team.

This does favor Barcelona, however, if they can manage to wait until 2025. By then, the Swedish winger would be a free agent and much more accessible to a team with the financial troubles of Barcelona. However, it would be unlikely that no side makes an advance for him before that.
