FC Barcelona are looking to offload several of their players with only a few days left in the summer transfer window. The Catalans have been negotiating for the sale of Clement Lenglet for some time now, and also want to sell one of their forwards in the coming days.
The forward line is currently saturated at Barcelona, as Ferran Torres, Raphinha, Ansu Fati, and Ez Abde are all competing for a single position in attack, while the other spot is fixed for Lewandowski. The club is also strongly linked with Joao Felix, and his arrival would further stack the Barcelona attack.
Offers for Fati from the Premier League
Ansu Fati has been identified as the first priority of the club to be sold in the coming days to lighten their wage bill and also make space in the attacking line to incorporate Felix. However, the player has been reported to be totally unwilling to leave the Catalan club, making a sale difficult for Barcelona.
The latest news in this regard has been provided by Helena Condis, who claims that the Spanish youngster has offers from the Premier League. However, she also reiterates that the player wants to succeed at Barcelona, and will stay at the Catalan club unless a very important offer arrives for him this summer.
Fati wants to succeed at Barcelona
Ansu Fati emerged at Barcelona at the very young age of 16 years and 298 days and made a record for being the second youngest player to make his debut with Barcelona in 2019. However, his luck has not been as good since then, as he has struggled for form and continuity amidst continuous physical problems for the last few years.
Currently, the presence of a high number of forwards means Fati will not get many chances. However, Barcelona believe game time is essential for the future growth and development of the player at this stage, and thus are willing to let him leave either on loan or permanently.
However, Fati believes he can succeed at Barcelona, and is adamant to do so. He refused a move to Wolves this summer, and still refuses to move despite the club communicating to him that he will not have a clear role this season.
Thus, as Barcelona need to make a sale in the remaining days of the transfer window, they have identified Ez Abde as another forward they can sell. However, Fati remains the first priority for the club for a sale, but the club will not force anything on the youngster.
