Speaking about it when asked about his future, Williams exudes a sense of calm in regards to his continuity. At the moment, the belief is that the Barcelona target will likely renew with his current Basque club.
In fact, SPORT reveals that recent weeks have been crucial in this matter. The player’s entourage has reportedly indicated and suggested that any rumors of the player moving away from Bilbao are false and fabricated.
At the moment, FC Barcelona seem to lack a player who shares the exact same profile that Nico Williams offers.
His rare combination of explosive speed, technical skills, and measured control are great at dismantling opposition defenders. However, it may be time for Barcelona to perhaps start looking at alternative options.
