FC Barcelona have been flying high this season under Hansi Flick after an impressive start. Having suffered only two losses in ten games so far this campaign, the German coach is making the right noises in his early months at the club.

As Barcelona are on their way back up, one other fallen giant in Europe is struggling under the direction of Erik ten Hag. Manchester United have won just three games across all competitions so far this season and are under immense pressure.

To add insult to injury, as per SPORT, Manchester United could be set to lose one of their biggest talents and a player who was imagined to be the face of the new project at Old Trafford. The Red Devils could consider a sale for Alejandro Garnacho.

As per the report, the Argentinian youngster’s relationship with Erik ten Hag is at an all-time low and he is not first-choice or indispensable for the Dutch manager anymore. Amad Diallo has pipped him to the right-wing role this season.

Garnacho has a contract with Manchester United until 2028 but his future is far from certain. Clubs like Juventus and Barcelona have been linked with a transfer for the 20-year-old and a fee of around €60m should get the deal done.

The Red Devils winger is no stranger to Spain; he was born in Madrid and came through the ranks at Atletico Madrid. He also holds citizenship in a European country, which means he would not need to be registered as a non-EU player.

That said, Barcelona do not need the €50m-rated winger. Raphinha has made the left wing his own and the club also has Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres to provide backup. The club doesn’t need to spend money on a new left winger.

Even if they wanted to, Alejandro Garnacho is not the solution. It remains to be seen what Deco thinks. The club has other areas to reinforce and let’s wait and see how it goes.
