With the summer transfer window now closed, the final squad has taken shape for FC Barcelona. In this window, the only two additions for the Catalans were Pau Victor, who was bought permanently after spending the last season on loan from Girona, and Dani Olmo.

Meanwhile, several players from the Blaugrana squad have left the team over this summer, with the most prominent of them being Ilkay Gundogan, Joao Cancelo, Joao Felix, and Oriol Romeu. Thus, the Catalans are left with an overall weakened squad.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, with the end of the summer transfer window, the squad numbers for the Blaugrana players have now been finalized. The Barcelona squad numbers for the 2024/25 season are as follows:

1. Marc-André ter Stegen

2. Pau Cubarsi

3. Alejandro Balde

4. Ronald Araujo

5. Iñigo Martinez

6. Gavi

7. Ferran Torres

8. Pedri

9. Robert Lewandowski

10. Ansu Fati

11. Raphinha

13. Iñaki Peña

14. Pablo Torre

15. Andreas Christensen

16. Fermin Lopez

17. Marc Casadó

18. Paul Victor

19. Lamine Yamal

20. Dani Olmo

21. Frenkie de Jong

23. Jules Koundé

24. Eric Garcia

26. Ander Astralaga

28. Marc Bernal

32. Hector Fort

35. Gerard Martin

36. Sergi Domínguez

39. Andrés Cuenca

As shown in the list, certain squad numbers remain unassigned. Specifically, the numbers 12, 22, and 25 are still vacant and have not been allocated to any player. The numbers 12 and 25 have been vacant since the 2021-22 season, and were last worn by Martin Braithwaite and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang respectively. Number 22 was left vacant by Gundogan this summer.

On the other hand, the most notable number in the squad, 10, has once again been assigned to Ansu Fati after this number was left vacant last season as Fati left Barcelona to play on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.

There are some other notable changes in this list over the last season as well. For instance, Cubarsi has now gotten the number 2, which was previously owned by Cancelo, from number 33 last season. Similarly, Casado wore number 37 last season, but now has the number 17 shirt, which was previously owned by Marcos Alonso.

Pau Victor has also been promoted from number 37 to number 18, which was Romeu’s old number, while Yamal has also advanced from number 27 to take Roque’s number 19. Pablo Torre has taken Felix’s number 14, while Olmo has taken Sergi Roberto’s number 20. Eric Garcia has reclaimed his number 24 after returning from Girona.
