The 21-year-old Dutch wonderkid reportedly has a special clause in his agreement with PSG that allows him to choose the destination of his next loan spell and that decision could very well be Barcelona itself.
A specialist in terms of attacking football with a far more direct approach than the typical Barcelona midfielder, Simons offers a dynamism that very few players within the current Barça team can. Moreover, he also has an eye for goal, scoring 9 goals this season while on loan at RB Leipzig.
His performances over in the Bundesliga and also in the UEFA Champions League have not gone unnoticed.
