Gavi talks Pedri, Busquets, Enrique, Germany

Gavi spoke about his World Cup debut, Luis Enrique’s trust, the atmosphere within the dressing room, his relationship with Pedri on and off the pitch, and facing Germany in the next game of the World Cup.

Gavi on his World Cup debut:

“I’m very grateful to Luis Enrique for believing in me, he gave me confidence and helped me to grow. But I still have room to improve and I have to work hard on that.”

Gavi on the atmosphere within the dressing room:

“The atmosphere within the dressing room is good. Busquets, Alba, and Koke always give us some advice.”

Gavi on Pedri:

“It is a pleasure to be able to play with Pedri. Pedri is a great friend and we spend a lot of time together off the pitch and that is reflected on the pitch. He is an amazing player and makes everything easier for you.”

Gavi on facing Germany:

“Our ambition against Germany will be the same as against Costa Rica, we are a team with a lot of ambition and we give our all on the pitch regardless of the opponent.”
