FC Barcelona have now reached a point of no return when it comes to the summer transfer window. The Catalan club must now decide what decisions are final and what routes the club must take. To do that, it is required that the heads of Barcelona sit down and finalize these plans.

In time, that is exactly what is expected to happen within the walls of the Catalan club. Barcelona president Joan Laporta is already doing his homework in order to ensure sustainability for the club, but two other figures are now set to meet and finalize some very important details.

As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is expected to meet club director Deco today to finalize many important topics. Having already met with Laporta recently, it is now time for Flick to sit down with the Barcelona director to lay out the foundations of what the club will aim to do this summer.

The first order of business, as highlighted by MD, will undoubtedly be discussing the potential signings. Two key positions that will need to be finalized are those of the left-wing role and the signing of a new pivot. The final candidates for both those crucial positions are expected to now be finalized as well.

Beyond just that, however, the two Barcelona key figures will also look to figure out other signings. As pointed out by MD, in the event of other sales, the Catalan club may end up making more signings as well. However, that is still open to discussion and will also need to be assessed.

Another crucial detail that this meeting could also discuss is the preparations for the preseason. Barcelona will have close to two weeks of training at the Ciutat Esportiva before they embark on their preseason tour of the United States of America.

Over there, Flick’s Barcelona will be expected to face off against the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid, and AC Milan.

Other key details will also likely be discussed in this important club meeting. However, everything will be assessed and analyzed one by one. For the betterment of the club, the outcomes of this Barcelona meeting could be considered to be very important.
