Now another change has taken place which will further fuel the speculation of Flick joining Barcelona. According to Mundo Deportivo, the German has changed his agent and has now switched to the agency of Pini Zahavi, who also represents Robert Lewandowski.
Flick’s new agent has a close and fruitful relationship with Barcelona President Joan Laporta and is also highly experienced in footballing matters. Thus, Flick believes Zahavi can help him land a job at one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and thus get him back to top-level football.
With this change of agents, it is clear that Flick is interested in getting back to coaching, but Barcelona is not the only club interested in his services. Reports from Germany indicate that the German also has some interesting proposals from the Premier League.
Furthermore, a recent report also claimed that Bayern Munich would once again welcome Flick back to their club if he was interested. Flick won the sextuple with the Bavarians back in 2020, but the latest news from Germany indicates that the Munich side will continue with Thomas Tuchel for now.
Now, being represented by Zahavi, his path to Barcelona might have become even more smoother, as the 80-year-old agent has good contacts at Barcelona, while Flick’s proven European pedigree already made him one of the favorites for the job of the head coach at the Catalan club.
