Following their return to the 1:1 status, FC Barcelona are now much more likely to get some replacements for Hansi Flick in this winter transfer window.
Although they would have to sell some of their current players before being able to do so, they are already being linked with several players in the market, mainly for one of the positions that the Catalans are looking to strengthen with the highest priority, the left wing and the center-forward.
In this regard, one of the players that has been closely associated with Barcelona in the last few days has been the Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, as there are reports that he is looking to leave the Premier League side.
According to SPORT, even though there is no unanimity at the Blaugrana club regarding his signing, he still has a very strong supporter, i.e., the head coach Hansi Flick. The report claims the German tactician has already endorsed his signing as he likes him a lot.

In fact, he had already tried to get him into his team when he was coaching Bayern Munich. But now, at Barcelona, Rashford will be an even more alluring option for Flick as he can play both as a left winger and as a center-forward, two positions where the Catalans are somewhat lacking in depth.
Meanwhile, the Blaugrana club itself is somewhat divided about this option. There is a debate about whether Rashford fits the profile that the club is looking for to get a replacement in the forward positions, while his inconsistency and problems in his personal life are also raising doubts at Barcelona about Rashford’s ability to provide quick and good returns on their investment.
For now, the Catalans are looking only to get him on a loan till the end of the season. Rashford himself is prioritizing a move to Barcelona, but has set 15th January as the deadline by which the Blaugrana side will have to make a decision in this regard, as he is also being linked with other big European sides like AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
