How Barcelona will bid farewell to Camp Nou – report

Football stadiums hold a special place in the hearts of fans and players alike who defend their colors, and FC Barcelona are no different. Camp Nou has long since been the home of La Blaugrana and their numerous achievements throughout the years, so now as the club prepares to depart with the stadium for a short while, a proper farewell is due.

Saying their farewells to both departing captain Sergio Busquets and their stadium, Camp Nou itself, albeit the latter only for a short while, an organized event is one that would best fit the occasion and the demands of fulfilling the wishes of those fans that hope to see these two legendary existences be treated with the love and admiration they deserve.

As per the official statement issued by FC Barcelona, the club is going to hold an organized farewell on the day Catalans are set to host Mallorca at the last home game of the season.

The slogan used for this campaign is ‘Lleno de historia, lleno de futuro’, which translates roughly to “Full of history, full of future”, referring to how the new Camp Nou is set to have the memories and success of the previous one be passed onto this new iteration of an immortalized footballing site.

The campaign further promotes all fans alike that will be visiting to take part in the game to come dressed in anything and everything to do with FC Barcelona to make the grand event even more spectacular in presentation.

Promoting the campaign has thus far primarily been done through a released video which featured the likes of Joan Laporta, Sergi Roberto, Sandra Panos, and a club member with the hashtag #FinsAviatSCN being used as promotion according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.

The team itself will also be donning special shirts for the occasion with ‘Ple d’història. Ple de futur’ written across them with the inauguration date of Camp Nou (1957) to the current year 2023. The shirt will also reportedly feature a drawing of Camp Nou itself on its surface.
