How will Barca Line up against Sevilla?

A chance for Xavi’s Barca to jump on 2nd spot in La Liga points table while having a game in hand.

Barca vs Sevilla:

Barca will face Sevilla on Sunday night at Camp Nou with the hopes of clinching the 2nd spot in the La Liga table while having a game in hand and putting pressure on league leaders. No rotations are expected against Sevilla and Xavi will most likely field his strongest available lineup despite the fact that they are scheduled to play seven matches in the next 21 days.

The potential Line up

Fc Barcelona

Formation: 4-3-3

Goal Keeper:

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is the obvious choice between the sticks for the Catalan giants.

Defense:

Gerad Pique and Jordi Alba are guaranteed starters for this key fixture. Eric Garcia has performed really well recently and his ball progression ability gives him a slight edge over Ronald Araujo who is still improving in that aspect. If Xavi goes for an extra layer of protection and starts Ronald Araujo then it will be definitely Dani Alves who will start as a Right Back as Sergino Dest is on the sidelines due to an injury.

Midfield:

Busquets got the rare rest of the full two weeks during the international break and is ready to start alongside Pedri in the middle of the field. Gavi is expected to start from the bench and may come off the bench as Frenkie is most likely to start against Sevilla. Nico is also expected to come from the bench to give some rest to Pedri before the coming up Europa League clash.

Forwards:

Barca’s attacking trio of Dembele, Aubameyang, and Ferran Torres was breathtaking against Real Madrid, and all three of them expected to retain their positions despite having tough competition from Memphis Depay and Adama Traore.
