The 17-year-old suffered a torn ACL and is thus expected to remain on the sidelines for a long time to come.

As highlighted by Barca Buzz, Gavi shared a picture of Bernal being helped by the Barcelona medical team off the pitch, and wrote: “I know it is hard but I am sure you will come back like an animal!!! We are with you.” This message was accompanied by heart emojis.
Both these players know the pain of suffering a torn ACL, and hopefully, both will return from this injury at the best of their form and continue to help Barcelona with their intensity and skills for years to come.
