FC Barcelona have suffered many losses this season, but some definitely hurt more than others. On the pitch, Barça have already suffered great defeats in various competitions that have knocked them out. However, arguably the worst blow to the hopes of Barcelona came in the colors of Spain.

That loss was the one to Gavi, who suffered a severe ACL injury while on international duty. It was there that the player’s season would end and Barça’s campaign would also be left tainted without the presence of one of their best players to help them through it.

The only hope from Barcelona was that Gavi recovers in peace and with full health. Fortunately, that is exactly what is happening and the young Golden Boy is finding his feet again. Moreover, in terms of his personal feelings, the recent reports are nothing but positive.

As per SPORT, the youngster feels calm and healthy, and is feeling great with his recovery. He is especially pleased and delighted with the way Barcelona is treating his injury and helping him through it. In particular, the aid of Deco has been crucial for him, and Gavi feels quite motivated and grateful for his help.

By not putting a time constraint or forcing him back, the midfielder believes his recovery is being helped a lot. Alejandro Echevarria and Deco in particular have been quite keen and active to ensure that Gavi has everything he needs to get through the tough period of his career.

Typically, injuries involving ACLs can be very negative for the progression of any player. However, in Gavi’s case, there is great hope and belief that when he returns he will be equally as important as ever. Barcelona continues to maintain faith in him, and the player gratefully acknowledges it.

He will likely not be rushed back this season, and will be hoping to return in the summer. At the moment, SPORT believes that he should be back in action for Barcelona during the pre-season before the next campaign kicks off. In fact, his return will be seen as a new signing altogether for Barcelona, and one that will be crucial.
