Even with all the issues and uncertainties they are facing, FC Barcelona still have to cater to their sporting commitments, and their next fixture will see them face off against Celta de Vigo in La Liga.

The Catalans were unable to win their last league match against Granada, and now trail the league leaders Real Madrid with 10 points. Thus, Xavi and his team will be looking for a victory in the upcoming match, especially to boost the team’s morale ahead of the crucial Champions League tie against Napoli.

After enjoying a day of rest on Tuesday, SPORT reports that Xavi Hernandez’s players returned to training for the Celta match today. All the available first-team players trained in this session, and were also joined by some of the youngsters, including Pau Cubarsi, Hector Fort, Marc Guiu, Marc Casado, and Pau Victor.

One of the reinforcements that Xavi received for this match was Vitor Roque, who returned to training after having missed the match against Granada with a suspension.

Sergi Roberto and Oriol Romeu continued with their recovery processes, but everything indicates that they will be able to make it for the match against Celta.

On the other hand, other injured players like Gavi, Alejandro Balde, Marcos Alonso, Joao Felix, and Ferran Torres will not be available either for the Celta de Vigo match or some other matches coming down the line.

The upcoming match is extremely important for Barcelona, as the Catalans cannot afford to lose any more points in the league. Losing more points will not only make La Liga impossible for the Catalans, but can also force the club to reconsider its decision to keep Xavi till the end of the season.

However, despite the importance of the match, several players will find it difficult to focus on the game. This is because Barcelona have already received offers for three of its very important players, and their future at the club is highly uncertain.
