Barcelona are advancing in terms of both arrivals and departures in the transfer market with not many days left until the deadline. Ilkay Gundogan’s exit from the club is said to be imminent with the player closing in on a move to Manchester City.

There have also been players that Barcelona have been linked with to sign this summer. Deco is said to be trying to pull off an unrealistic deal for AC Milan superstar Rafael Leao who is considered ‘untransferable’ by the club.

We also covered a story revealing that Barcelona are preparing a €10m offer to sign out-of-favour Juventus winger Federico Chiesa. As per SPORT, Juventus might be prepared to sanction an exit for the 26-year-old for less than €15m amidst the Catalan club’s interest.

The report explains that Juventus are ready to take this extreme step to avoid their ‘worst nightmare’ which would be to see the Italian Euro 2020 star join bitter rivals Inter Milan. The Old Lady would rather sell abroad.

If it was up to Juventus, they consider Barcelona the priority to sell to avoid league rivals like Napoli and Roma. Thus, the Spanish club’s offer of €10m plus bonuses could make the Italian giants consider.

Should the La Liga club facilitate Gundogan’s exit in the coming days, they would free up salary space which would help them move for Chiesa. This transfer saga could heat up in the coming days as we near the deadline.

Hansi Flick and his team need a left winger. Federico Chiesa at his best can be unplayable and would be a good addition to the German coach’s system. Juventus want to sell him desperately this summer. This transfer could be a win-win for all clubs involved and the next few days might be crucial in how it pans out.
