Even according to prior reports, Kylian Mbappe has always been attributed as a negotiator when it comes to luring players to Paris Saint-Germain in the hopes of making the Parisian club as strong as possible in terms of the quality of players they possess.
In the past, the French forward has attempted to sway the likes of then-Bayern forward Robert Lewandowski as well as French teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni to join the French club, however, both attempts ended up in failure as they both ended up joining FC Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
However, according to Le Parisien Frenkie De Jong was also one of the players that Mbappe attempted to sway away from a potential transfer in favor of joining PSG but as always his attempts were in vain, as the Dutchman ended up joining Barcelona in 2019 courtesy of an in-person visit from a Catalonian entourage which also consisted of then president Josep Maria Bartomeu, which in turn was crucial in convincing the Dutchman to join the Catalan outfit.
Understandably frustrated, Mbappe also reportedly holds the PSG sporting departments accountable for not having done enough to persuade the said targeted players to join the Parisian club.
