With the summer transfer window deadline on their heads, FC Barcelona still have to conclude their transfer business. Two incoming transfers require urgent action from the club in particular.
These two incoming transfers are those of Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo. The last updates on these players show that they are already in the final phases of their operations to move to Barcelona, and hopefully, the Catalan club can complete the process to sign them before the transfer window closes.
La Liga approves Barcelona’s formula
There is good news in this regard, as FC Barcelona have overcome one of the major stumbling blocks to these operations. Journalists Jordi Batalla and Fernando Polo claim that La Liga has approved the formula submitted by FC Barcelona for the signing of Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo, which could pave the way for the Catalan club to complete their operations for these players.
It needs to be reminded here that Barcelona President, Joan Laporta, had to give his personal guarantees backed by a Spanish bank to La Liga to allow the club to sign these two players.
Frantic day at Barcelona
Meanwhile, Barcelona and the players themselves have also been working to complete these moves in the last few hours. Previously it was reported that both these players have arrived in Barcelona ahead of their moves, and the latest reports mentioned that both these star were already undergoing their medicals with Barcelona.
Furthermore, the Catalan giants also reached a verbal agreement with Atletico Madrid for Felix’s loan, which would not have an option to buy him next summer.
The club is also working on some departures, with Ez Abde and Eric Garcia reportedly nearing an exit from the club. Abde is nearing a move to Real Betis, while Eric Garcia’s loan to Girona has been agreed upon between the two clubs.
