PSG and their star player, Leo Messi, have reportedly resolved their recent conflict, according to Messi’s recent social media post. This announcement comes after the Argentine player was sanctioned for two weeks without pay on the basis of him leaving for a trip with his family to Saudi Arabia without informing the Parisian club.
Leo Messi posted a video stating his reasons for having gone on the trip and then proceeds to apologize to his club and fellow teammates. With this latest announcement, it appears that the two parties have settled their differences.
Galtier, the PSG coach, spoke about the situation in a recent press conference, stating that he was informed about Messi’s sanction at the beginning of the week. He also mentioned that he decided not to comment on it because it was the decision of the club.
Now, it remains to be seen just how well Paris Saint-Germain take this apology, and whether any reconciliation between the two sides will have any impact on Messi’s current decision to leave the Paris-based club in the summer indefinitely and potentially have a reunion with FC Barcelona.
