With FC Barcelona soon to have access to vital information that would allow them to pursue their various transfer targets over the summer, the most pressing matter reportedly amongst them remains of a particular Argentine.
The Financial Feasibility Plan that holds the key to dictating just how FC Barcelona will go about their business during the summer transfer window is yet to receive the official green light from the offices of La Liga, a process that was reportedly expected to have been completed quite a while back but has since been delayed beyond expectations.
Consequently, with the green light delayed, so has been the official offer that FC Barcelona reportedly was hoping to send to Lionel Messi in order to bring him back to the club. Due to this, recent reports in the media have suggested that Messi and his camp will not wait any longer and some have suggested that he may have already agreed a transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.
The most recent revelation from trusted Italian journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided fans of La Blaugrana a bit of hope, however. The journalist has stated that the player is yet to have finalised any transfer, and will continue to wait for FC Barcelona for a few more days before having his final say.
He also states that the Argentine is indeed tempted to return to Barcelona and remains in constant contact with Xavi and other members of the club.
The official confirmation over the eligibility of the Financial Feasibility Plan is expected to be provided soon in the coming week and in due time Barcelona will then send the offer they have in place for Lionel Messi as well, hoping for one last dance between the Catalan club and the recent World Cup winner.
