Despite the praises from Xavi and his staff back in Pre-season and the departure of young talent Nico Gonzalez to create space for him in the team, Miralem Pjanic looks set to part ways with the Catalan giants.
The transfer market may be closed in Spain but it’s still possible for players to move to other leagues where the transfer window is still open. According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Sharjah Fc have approached the Bosnia international with a lucrative offer that seems to have tempted him.
It would be a permanent deal with a three-year contract and the final details are actually been discussed between the two parties. What we remain to see is if Pjanic would accept the proposal and its impact on Barca’s squad.
Pjanic was meant to be a backup option for Sergio Busquets since the club has sent Nico Gonzalez on loan to Valencia and decided to keep the Bosnia international at the club but now it seems a good option for both the club and the player since Fc Barcelona would ease some part of the wage bill and Pjanic, who has barely featured for Xavi will get some playing time.
It’s a golden chance for both parties. It seems that Pjanic may travel to UAE on Tuesday to probably complete the deal and move away from Barca, a club he really never got a chance to showcase his talent.
