The financial side of things for FC Barcelona has not been too easy to circumnavigate recently. The Blaugranes have struggled in recent seasons to find stability but they are inching ever closer to it. To help them out with this dilemma, Barcelona have secured some important sources of revenue.

One of those new sources of revenue will come in the form of a generous injection of funds through a new deal with Nike. FC Barcelona negotiated the possibility of a new shirt sponsor with brands like Puma and even contemplated creating their own brand at one point, but their final decision has settled on continuing with Nike.

However, beyond just the direct compensation that Barcelona would receive for signing the new deal, Nike has also given the club a new benefit. As pointed out by SPORT, FC Barcelona is now able to send products from their official website outside of Europe as well.

This exclusivity that limited Barça only to Europe was previously benefitting only Nike as they retained the global rights to those products. Now, however, Barcelona has succeeded in ending this exclusivity and the Catalan club can now manage those products and sales themselves as well.

The long-term sports partner of Barcelona has offered the club a solid new contract on top of this that just needs to have some contentions ironed out. After that, it is expected that Barcelona will be closer than ever to sealing this agreement with Nike that would provide them with a very appealing sum.

It is reported that this deal would give Barcelona somewhere between €105-120 million a year as their annual payment from Nike, and the club would also receive €100 million as a signing bonus on top of that. These figures will reportedly place this deal between the two parties as the most lucrative of its kind in the football world.

There have been reports suggesting that the deal could also include sporting bonuses that the club could benefit from if they meet certain objectives throughout any given season. This would provide additional benefits to the club for achieving sporting success while also acting as additional motivation to achieve certain objectives.
