After the cancellation of the opening pre-season game against Juventus, the FC Barcelona players who were recovering from a case of stomach bug are back in time to initiate their tour. The club now prepares to lock horns against Arsenal at the SoFi stadium in Los Angeles.
With hours left before the clash commences, Barcelona has revealed the kit numbers for the United States tour. These jersey numbers assigned are only temporary and meant specifically for the pre-season tour.
New arrival Inigo Martinez will be seen representing the #5 shirt, which was previously donned by Sergio Busquets. Gundogan, another latest signing, meanwhile, occupies #14, and returning from Osasuna, Abde is set to take responsibility for number #16.
Sergino Dest has taken the #2 jersey, while Alejandro Balde takes up Gerard Pique’s #3. Clement Lenglet, who is returning from loan, has been handed the #12 kit. Lastly, Oriol Romeu, Catalan’s newest defensive midfielder, will take charge of the #18 jersey.
The Camp Nou faithful will eagerly observe how the players perform during the pre-season tour and whether the assigned jersey numbers will become permanent for the upcoming season.
