Following two weeks of inaction due to the November international break, FC Barcelona are set to return to La Liga action tonight as they face Celta Vigo at the always-difficult Balaidos.

The Catalans will be looking to get back to winning ways with this game, as they went into the international break with a surprising defeat to Real Sociedad.

However, getting a win in this match will not really be easy for Hansi Flick’s men. In addition to the difficulty that playing at the Balaidos presents, the Blaugranes will also be without some of their key players for this game.

Hansi Flick has already confirmed that Lamine Yamal will be unable to participate in this game, and keeping in view the fact that the two defeats that Barcelona have faced in the league this season have both come when the young winger did not start, this will be a challenge for Flick’s men to ensure they get a victory even without Yamal.

Furthermore, other key players like Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, Marc Bernal, Eric Garcia, and Ansu Fati also remain unavailable for this game. Similarly, Ferran Torres is also not ready for this game.

There were also some doubts about Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong’s fitness levels, but they will still be available to participate in this match tonight.

On the other hand, Gavi is likely to get his first start after having recovered from his ACL tear. Additionally, Flick has also called up Guille Fernández and Noah Darvich from the youth ranks to be a part of the squad and travel to Vigo for this match.
