After their morale-boosting victories over Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, FC Barcelona were able to continue their winning run with a victory over RCD Espanyol in La Liga last weekend. Now, the Blaugranes are set to return UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, as they face the Serbian side, Red Star in Belgrade.

After a defeat to Monaco in their opening match of the UCL campaign, the Catalans have won their two ensuing matches against Young Boys and Bayern Munich in a very convincing fashion. Now, Flick will be looking to get another win against the Serbians to ensure his team locks its place in the next round of the tournament as soon as possible.

Barcelona have announced the squad for this game, and 22 players have made the list. Injured players like Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, Eric Garcia, Marc Bernal, and Ferran Torres are absent from this list as they continue to recover from their respective problems.

On the other hand, Flick will be able to count on some other players who have returned to the field recently, but are yet to return to their 100%, like Frenkie de Jong and Gavi. Sergi Dominguez has also been called up from the youth ranks to bolster Flick’s defensive options.

The full squad announced by Barcelona for this game is as follows:
