FC Barcelona will play against Almeria in their last game of 2023. Xavi’s men will be looking for a victory in this match not only to end the year on a good note but also because they have not been able to win a match in their last three games.

The Catalans lost the matches against Girona and Royal Antwerp and drew the game against Valencia. With these results, Barcelona now trail the league leaders, Girona, by nine points but have qualified for the knock-out stages of the Champions League.

FC Barcelona have released the official squad list for this upcoming game against Almeria. Gavi, Ter Stegen, Marcos Alonso, and Inigo Martinez will remain unavailable for this match as they have yet to recover from their injuries.

Furthermore, Pedri also suffered a muscle injury in training, and Frenkie de Jong is suspended, so both will be unavailable for this match as well.

Xavi has also called up several youngsters from the reserve team, including Marc Casado, Pau Prim, Hector Fort, Pau Cubarsi, Unai Hernandez, Marc Guiu, Diego Kochen, and Andre Astralaga. The full squad released by FC Barcelona is as follows:
