The international break is finally over and FC Barcelona are once again set to return to action in La Liga this weekend with a match against Athletic Club at the Montjuic.

This will be the tenth La Liga match for the Catalans this season, and they will be looking to get a victory after having drawn the match against Granada just before the break.

Barcelona currently stand third in the league table, one point behind Girona, who are second, while Athletic Club are currently fifth, trailing Barcelona with four points. Thus, the upcoming match can have significant implications for the league table.

Xavi’s task of getting a result in this match will be quite difficult as he is missing several important players with injury, including Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Raphinha, and Sergi Roberto.

Barcelona have announced the 19-man squad for this match, and a number of players from the subsidiary have been named in this list, including Hector Fort, Unai Hernandez, and Marc Guiu, keeping in view the high number of players missing because of injuries.
